This festival is held every January to raise money in support of the Friends of Blue Spring and increase awareness of the endangered West Indian Manatees that congregate in the spring run during cold weather.
The highlight of the festival is the short shuttle bus ride to the spring where visitors can see dozens of Manatees basking in the 73-degree waters.
